Wow! It's been over two weeks since I updated...sorry 'bout that! I will endeavour to do better.
Let's see, what happened in the last two weeks? Hmmmm. Hmmmm. and again with the Hmmmmm.
Nada. Nothing. Zip. Zilch.
Could be why the lack of updates. Ya think??
Oh well, there was a small thing. THE BOY started back to school on Monday. He has been so excited. New teacher, new class, new clothes, new STUFF. Also, new kids to get to know.
Do you remember first day of school? Stiff new Levis(not so anymore with the advent of the pre-wash) that you could not move in without much noise and at the end of a hot September day, blue dyed legs??
You organized all your things the night before, making sure that EVERY single new supply you got was in the notebook zipper pocket (how many years did the pocket actually survive the first month or two of school?)
Figuring out within hours of the first bell who was gonna be your buddy, and who was NOT?? Do you answer the questions the teacher asks, shooting your hand into the air, practically pulling yourself out of your desk in your excitement? Or do you sit there trying to look like you could care less, racking up the coolness points?
And then, at the end of the day, your mom asks you..."How was your first day of school? Did you like your teacher? Did you know anyone?" and you...
